Sondi is a contemporary jeweller who specialises in mokumé gane, a traditional Japanese technique combining up to 24 different layers in ''woodgrain metal'.

Her distinctive style reflects a passionate approach to life and practice. She creates commissioned and limited edition pieces that have a disciplined continuity of design and use of materials that relate to an instantly recognisable style and character.

Spanning almost thirty years of professional practice, Sondi’s Studio, as she is known, is an experienced teacher and mentor to aspiring contemporary jewellers. She has taught at Sydney’s Enmore Design Centre, conducted workshops throughout Australia and has collaborated with architects, artists and jewellers alike.

Sondi is represented exclusively work is carried by Katoomba Fine Art and Courtesy of The Artist, established by Metalab, Surry Hills. She has exhibited in many group shows and jewellery competitions and her work features in the book 500 Brooches.
